Setup Exchange Online In Outlook

The following instructions will work for both Outlook 2010 and 2013.

Method 1 - Wizard

You can use the setup wizard by entering the email address and password. The Autodiscover process will automatically find the settings and set up an Exchange connection to the Exchange Online (formerly Office 365) account. Exchange Online Desktop Setup

Method 2 - Exchange Connection

1) Open Outlook, if the Outlook Startup wizard appears click Next. On the Email accounts page click Next to set up an email account.

If the wizard does not appear then go to File, then just above the Account settings button click Add Account.


2) In the Auto Account Setup page, fill in the following information:

* Your Name: Your name as you would like it to appear on messages you send
* E-mail Address: username@ufl.edu
* Password: Gatorlink password


3) Click the Next button. Outlook will search online to find the email server settings. It will prompt for the username and password. If the setup is successful it will prompt with "Congratulations! Your successfully configured and ready" after that click the Finish button.
