How Do I Connect To DHNet Service

The New Residents section which outlines some of the items students should be aware of while using our Internet services. It can be found at http://www.dhnet.ufl.edu/newresidents/

Some pointers to connect to DHNet:

  1. First, be sure to remove all file sharing software. Install virus protection that is set to automatically update and set Windows to automatically update. If you need virus protection software, you can visit the Virus Protection page on the UF IT Security site for a list of recommended products.
  2. Plug your Ethernet cord into the Ethernet port in your residence and into your computer. Plug your computer in. Start the computer.
  3. In order to configure your connection, go to Wired Connection Tutorials and follow the instructions to access the Internet.
