Q. How do I set my Gatorlink forwarding and Business email?

A. The University of Florida Business Email is used to send critical, time-sensitive information via email from time to time. In addition, some of the new myUFL systems will have automated messaging to your UF Business Email Address.

If your department has provisioned a UF Exchange mailbox for your account, your business email should be set as the departmental or Gatorlink email address. This is due to the university’s obligation to meet legal and compliance obligations relating to security and retention of electronic records. It is generally good practice to consult your Departmental IT before changing your business email to any other address.

If your UF Business Email address needs to be updated, you can do so at my.ufl.edu, by selecting Main Menu > My Account > Modify My UF Business Email.
